It had been a rather slow Sunday for Naoto Shirogane so far. She had yet to recieve a case from the police, and her friends were all busy with their part-time jobs. Since she had nothing to do, the bluenette simply stayed home and watched every cop drama episode she ever taped.
'You know,' she realized as she watched the 25th episode, 'I never noticed how every episode follows the same stupid pattern of events...'
She was just about to make up another bowl of buttered popcorn when she heard the doorbell ring. Answering it, Naoto was surprised to find her good friend (and pop idol) Rise Kujikawa standing on her doortstep.
"Rise...what're you doing here?"
Rise had a mischevious little grin on her plump lips...
