You wonder now what? Then you notice the clock in Dan's room! "You little jerk! I need to get ready for Steve to pick me up! He is supposed to take me out to eat and then to a movie, but when I get home, we will have a talk about this!"
Great! Now you had to rush to get ready! You barely have enough time to do your hair, your makeup, and pick out something that Steve will like! As you are putting on your earrings, you think of how nice that ring would have looked with them! As you are trying to pick out what to wear, Jenn comes in. She smiles at you, "Getting ready for a date with Stevie?"
You groan, "Come on Sis. He is a nice guy and you know it."
She smiles, "Awww... come on Em's. I am just teasing a little. Steve is great, and I think you make a great couple." She hugs you, "We might fight sometimes, but you will always be my little sister, and if he was anything but nice to you, he would have to answer to me!"
You thank her, "You are a good sister Jenn." You grin impishly, "A pain sometimes, but a good sister!" However, something she said bothered you. Since when was Jenn taller than you? Well, no time to think about it now, Steve would be here soon!
Something does feel off though. Things seem, well, bigger somehow. No matter. You finally settle on a skirt that you think Steve will like. As soon as you are dressed, you hear the doorbell. You rush downstairs to meet Steve at the door.As soon as you see him, your heart flutters, and the feelings going through you are so powerful that you are almost out to his car before you realize that You barely come up to Steve's shoulders! That punk Dan must have made you shorter than he is! You would have been angry, but you are so happy around Steve that you won't let anything spoil your evening with him!
