The sound of the doorbell interrupts your session of wasting time checking things on your smartphone, you hear Isabel opening the door so you decide to check to see who it was. Maybe it was her friend Sally, on which case you might even be nice and give her a hand with the chores so she can play outside and you can have the house to yourself.
"Oh, it's you" you greet your cousin with a mock disappointing tone. That was the other option, of course.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Laura replied back, pretending to be offended and still hugging Isabel "And why is poor Izzy doing maid work today?"
Isabel told her about beating your high score and the bet she made, while you corrected her on important details such as the fact that you didn't cheat at all and how you bragged to her but at no point shoved her to start working.
"That's so awful, your brother is awful"
"He took advantage of me" The girls mocked you enjoying your unimpressed face.
"You started with that bet! and if I lose I would have to be your servant for the weekend, that's worse than just doing some chores"
"Your servant?" Laura raised an eyebrow and looked at Isabel
"I didn't say he had to be my servant, just that he had to do whatever I say!" Isabel defended herself and Laura just giggled
"So like a servant" you replied
"Pretty much" Laura agreed
"Don't take his side, you told me he's awful!" Isabel kept protesting but at that point the three of you were just laughing
"Anyway, what game were you playing?"
"Oh yeah, I'll show you how I beat her" you said, turning the game console again
"I want to see!"
"Finish the dishes first and I will show you too"
"Fine" your little sister groaned and went back to the chore she was doing before Laura arrived as you explained to your cousin the method you used to beat the 50k high score and let her have a turn.
A couple of hours later Isabel was done with the chores for the day and you had also explained to her the pattern that you learnt from that tutorial, which she tried to argue counted as cheating but Laura once again sided with you.
"It's not cheating Izzy, but I think now that we all know the secret trick we can make another bet" Laura said with a grin
"Yeah, if I win I no longer have to do chores! and you have to do what I say for the rest of the day"
"What? calm down" You laughed at her insistence to make you do whatever she wanted, wondering what did she have in mind to be so persistent with it "what do you have in mind?" you asked Laura
"I don't know, your allowance maybe?"
"That's boring!" Isabel interrupted
"Or maybe you have to do whatever I say if I win then, how about that?" Laura laughed, noticing the same thing you did and enjoying Isabel's cute pouting at the idea of having to play servant to someone else.
"Whatever, let's get this over with and see what we can do next" You shook your head, feeling confident that you could win again. Both girls passed the previous score of 50000 but they still were a bit far from the 65000 you set earlier.
