You wake with a start bolting upright in your bed breathing hard as you do drenched in sweat. The whole thing seems strange, why would such an odd dream affect you in such a way? Dreams never bothered you that much before...

Rolling out of bed you stretch looking out at the town you call home, a small farming community that appears similar the a modernized version of a Western. It might not be much compaired to the cities and only be visited by people who come the visit the old fort outside of town, but it is your home and you know it always will be. Realizing you are going to need clothes to go about your day you quickly pick out your favorite t-shirt and jeans from a pile of clothes next to your bed and hurry to the bathroom zipping in just before your younger sister can get there blowing a rasberry at her as you slam and lock the door.
She pounds on the door angrily shouting a string of words you know she didn't learn here and agravate her more by turning on the shower and pretending not to hear her as you sing songs in a deep bass enhanced by the four walls of the shower. About the time your sister quits shouting you finish up and dress yourself brushing back you hair so it won't get in your eyes later today.
You pause before exiting the bathroom to glance at yourself in the mirror. You don't seem any diffrent from before, still a man in his late teens, finally finished growing into his body, body toned and tanned from relentless farmwork his whole life, with a few scars to show for it. A bit of a beard growing in and well cared fore shoulder length brown hair that everyone seemed to think makes you look like a hippie for some reason. But that doesn't to you matter because at the end of the day you know you are going to be...
