Expecting the hordes of demons to crowd the table, Alice stepped back for a moment. But no one- or, rather, nothing- moved to the table, instead opting to move into a circle around the table. Those of the creatures who physically could sit down opted to use chairs.
"I-Is nobody hungry?" Alice managed to break the silence. Hundreds of eyes stared down on her, as though she were a marvel.
"Of course not. Don't you think it's strange," Formorase asked, "that all the food here is human food? And, quite high-calorie human food at that?"
Alice gulped. "Y-You don't mean-"
"Of course I do!" Formorase boomed. "We can't start you on demon food yet; your belly would burst wide open! So, we'll fatten you up on this, just to begin with."
"All of it?!"
"Yes, all of it! Why else would I conjure it?!"
"B-But, I couldn't even eat this much if I were starving in a desert!"
"You may," Formorase quipped, "surprise yourself." The look in the demon empress' eyes told Alice the conversation was over.
Alice meekly opened her mouth to respond, when from her belly came a horrible, massive wet gurgle. It sounded like a ravenous animal, all by itself! The sudden hunger pang nearly doubled Alice over!
"Aaaaah! Wh-What'd you do to me?!" Alice roared, almost as loud as her stomach.
"Being here, with me, in front of all this food, is waking up your, shall we say, primal urges. Fight it if you want, it'll only get worse from here. Or I could have my incubi force-feed you."
Alice whimpered. Her belly groaned again, and she winced. She picked up a slab of ribs and started hungrily gnawing, staring at her "mother" the whole time.
