Chapter #25

Le Cameleon et Le Corbeau (2)

    by: Seuzz Author IconMail Icon
You swallow hard and glance back up again at Kelsey, but she seems totally absorbed in the papers that she is reading, and you decide against saying anything to her.

You look down at the first page to see who wrote it: "by Francine Adams," it says. Kim has a pretty encyclopedic knowledge of who is who at the school, and you don't recognize the name. Obviously, it must be a pseudonym. That's no surprise. It's pretty clear that whoever submitted the story didn't intend for it to be published. They were just spreading trouble.

You suck on your pen, trying to think of who "Francine Adams" might be. It's someone who has it in for Kelsey; probably they have it in for Gordon and Chelsea too. Of course, that doesn't narrow the list of suspects down.

You ponder. Does Kelsey really, secretly have a crush on Gordon? Or, at least, does she actually nurse an ambition to take him away from Chelsea? If so, that would probably mean it's by someone who knows Kelsey pretty well. You blanch: Maybe it was actually written by one of her own friends, someone who is really mad at her for some reason. Or maybe it's just someone who thinks that writing about Kelsey chasing Gordon would be a mean thing to do.

You shake your head to clear it. Best thing to do is finish the story. There might be additional clues in it.

Kelsey--not the real one, the person who was looking like Kelsey--went to her next class and pretended that nothing was going on. But after that class she went to find Deanna. "Oh my God, I am going to kill Amanda," she said.

"What's wrong?" Deanna asked. It wasn't unusual for Kelsey to be in a bad mood, and she was often complaining about Amanda behind her back.

"I told her a totally secret thing," Kelsey said. "About a dream I had last night, and now she's blabbing it all over school. Haven't you heard?"

Deanna shook her head, and leaned in expectantly. She was a huge gossip, and really wanted to hear what all this was about.

"Well, it was a dream about me and Gordon," Kelsey said. "And now Amanda is telling other people, and they're treating it like it's true, like it really happened!"

"What was the dream?" Deanna asked. She thought the idea of Kelsey and Gordon together was very interesting.

"Never mind," Kelsey said. "But Amanda's got the details all mixed up anyway. You just tell everyone not to believe any stories that they've heard about me and Gordon. I've already yelled at Amanda, so don't say anything to her."

"This all sounds terrible," Deanna said. "It's really too bad. You and Amanda are such good friends."

"Not really that much," Kelsey said. "Amanda can be a real snake. I wouldn't put it past her that she did all this on purpose."

Deanna turned white and stuttered something, and that's the way Kelsey left her. And since Kelsey was supposed to be gone from school on a dental appointment, this girl also left school early before Amanda could see her in the hallway.

She drove out to the mall, where she bought some slacks and a polo shirt and a ball cap, and then in the changing room she changed again. She shrank a few more inches, and her chest and shoulders got big, and she also got kind of a big butt. All that was so that she turned into the twin of Jason, who was captain of the baseball team and one of Gordon's best friends. He grinned into a mirror--the way Jason was always grinning into mirrors he passed--as he sauntered back out of the store and drove off to Chelsea's house. He parked around the corner, though, because his car didn't look anything like Jason's own truck.

"How are you and Gordon doing?" he asked Chelsea after he met her, and had made sure that Gordon wasn't around. "Have you given him a b. j. lately?"

"You're so disgusting," Chelsea yelled at him.

"I'm not trying to be disgusting," the guy who looked like Jason said. "I just want to know if you guys are okay. Because Gordon was telling me and Steve that he got a blow job from Kelsey this afternoon."

"What?" Chelsea shrieked. Her face turned splotchy with red and purple, and a zit popped out from under her makeup.

"And, like, he's saying it was a hell of a lot better than any he ever got from you," Jason said.

"I don't believe it," Chelsea screamed. "You're lying, Jason!"

"How about you call Kelsey, then?" Jason said. "I heard it from Gordon himself, but if it happened then Kelsey will confirm it."

Chelsea whipped out her iPhone--which she was never without--and instantly called Kelsey. "Hi Kelsey," she said in that sweet tone she always used when she was getting ready to stab someone. "Did you give my boyfriend a blow job this afternoon?" Her mouth fell open and she turned totally white. "I'll kill you for this, Kelsey," she said. "You and Gordon both!"

"I'm sorry about all this," Jason said as Chelsea sobbed and wailed. "But I figured you ought to know."

He left before she could call Gordon, and drove back out to the school. The parking lot was mostly empty, so no one was around to see as he changed into a pair of skimpy running shorts and a tight exercise top. The next bit was going to be fun, and he took a long time while letting the slow changes occur. His boobs got bigger and plumper and tighter until they filled the cups, and they tingled as he supported them with his hands. He threw his head back and gasped and wriggled in the seat as his hips widened, and he pressed a palm to his crotch until it became moist. He sucked on lips that became bigger and darker, and brushed a cheek that turned brown. He ran fingers through long, loose locks of dark hair. And when the changes were through, the new girl tucked her feet into dainty little running shoes bought specially for this part of the plan. Then she sat back and watched, waiting.

It wasn't long before the car appeared, and she watched as Gordon got out and walked angrily toward the gym. He had a special key and let himself in. Then she followed him.

"Oh, hi Maria," he said after she'd called to him. "What are you doing here?"

"I thought I'd find you here," she said. "I heard from Chelsea."

"Are you going to scream at me too?" he said. "I didn't do anything with Kelsey!"

The girl who looked like Maria just shrugged. "I just thought you'd probably like to see a friend. It was Jason who told Chelsea, right?"

Gordon punched a wall. And then since there was no place else to go, he went into the closet where Kelsey and someone who had looked like him had gone earlier in the day. Maria followed him.

They talked a little bit, and then Maria touched him, and started to stroke his arm, and Gordon slumped to the floor, and Maria sat on his lap, and then they were kissing. Maria was Chelsea's best friend and was always hanging around with her and Gordon, so this girl figured Gordon probably had a thing for her. She was right, and soon she was sliding up and down on Gordon's dick, which was actually much smaller than a lot of people probably thought it would be.

When they were done they cuddled for a bit and then walked back out into the parking lot.

And that's when lots of people got a huge surprise. Because in the parking lot were Chelsea and Kelsey and Jason and Amanda. They were all walking toward the gym. The girl who looked like Maria smirked, because she thought this would be a perfect opportunity for some more mischief. But then she froze.

Maria--the real Maria--was also with the others.

Everyone stopped and stared. "That's-- That's me!" the real Maria squealed.

The fake Maria dropped Gordon's hand and ran off faster than anyone at the school had ever run before, and no one could catch her.

So everyone pretended to forgive everyone else, because it was obvious that it had all been the work of a shapeshifter. But no one quite trusted anyone else after that.

Which was good, because the shapeshifter was still there. It was one of their friends, and it listened to their stories about what had happened, and pretended to be shocked just like them. And like them, it went around the school and looked at people suspiciously, because maybe those people were really the shapeshifter in disguise.

Nothing good will come of having this story show up, so you quietly tuck it away in your bag when Kelsey isn't looking. But you wonder if it would be worth tracking the author down.
