This choice: Option 2: Go public and change the world for the better • Go Back... You decided to take the path of making yourself known and to change the world. You looked at the remaining formula, half of which had already been swallowed. You gulped the rest down. With that your complete and full omnipotence had been unlocked. You used your power to boost your intelligence, your knowledge. You started to take care of the loose ends. No-one else would be allowed to make another copy of the formula that had empowered you, nobody else could have your power, not now, not ever. It was too dangerous otherwise, what if another God less benevolent arose to challenge you? There would only be one - You.
You then thought now of what changes to make. With a thought you appeared in outer space, above planet Earth, the entire planet now the size of a tennis ball from your perspective. Your sheer immensity blocked out the sun but with a thought you illuminated the places your body blocked. You then took total control of every form of media, the internet, radio, television, even the animals and trees of the Earth were placed into your service to broadcast your Message in every tongue both written and spoken, the Message that would herald the changes that would come.
"Hello there, Earth. My name is Hao and I am omnipotent. I am capable of changing reality and doing anything I want with only a thought. I have decided to use my power to bring many momentous changes to better all of humanity and the Earth itself" you paused to gauge the reaction of humanity: Surprise, Fear, Apprehension. Some even began to have panic attacks.
This was not completely surprising but it was still not a good start "Do not be afraid" you said and with your power you forced all of humanity to clam themselves. You didn't like to control the minds of humanity like this but you needed them to understand your message very clearly.
"For my first acts I have decided upon the following changes for all of humanity: One, all human beings are now immortal. No-one shall every die from now on unless by their own hand. Two, all diseases, injuries, lost limbs and physical disabilities are to be healed. No-one shall be sick or crippled ever again. Three, all forms of severe pain and suffering will be brought to an end. No-one shall ever suffer extreme pain or be subject to torture. There may be more changes, but I have started with these as a token of my good intentions. If you have any questions or comments concerning me or what else I might do then I shall return to Earth, at a more relatable size and I will then take questions and suggestions as to what I might do next in the United Nations Headquarters in New York. I have already marked a place in the building for the media and other officials to gather"
Having now finished your speech you smiled at the planet, letting all of humanity take in the visage of your face, letting them see you as you loomed over their planet. "I'll see you all in an hour, enjoy your better lives!" you said, waving your hand in front of Earth as you vanished from their sight and gave them time to process what had happened.
