Rebecca, blinded, by the darkness surrounding her, began to feel a heavy fast beating in her chest. She was beginning to panic and immediately called out as loud as she could muster.
"Erika! Help me! I don't know where I am and... what's going on? Please someone find me!"
Little did she know she had shrank to such a size that even if one were to hear her pleads, they would not be able to comprehend any words, due to her shrunken size and vocal chords, any sounds heard would sound similar to a mouse's squeaking.
Rebecca had waited long enough and her eyes had begun to adapt to the darkness, she could see large folds above and around her, in her head she compared it to the sides of a large cavern. She raised her arms out in front of her and started to step forwards in the direction of the 'cave wall' as she advanced forwards she felt a pain in her toe, "fuck!" she exclaimed as her torso fell forwards taking her body with it. The tiny girl thudded onto a raised surface which was up to her knees in height.
"What the hell is this?" She traced the surface of the object with her hands and after a minute or two of moving her hands around she figured out that there were raised parts on the object, as she traced in more detail she came to the conclusion that it was writing, not just any writing, it was a date. "Is this, a fucking coin!? Oh my god how small am I!" She took off, running towards the wall of the 'cave', When she reached the edge Rebecca reached down and decided to try and lift what she now assumed was her dress. Her tiny muscles and core engaged as she attempted to lift in order to escape the dress. As hard as she tried she could not raise the dress above her shins. But she needed to escape, fueled by adrenaline and fear she immediately went into a prone position and used her arms and legs like an army soldier to commando crawl her way out of the section she could raise. As she pushed through, she felt the weight of her previously well fitting dress pushing down on her. This was until she felt her hands break out of the constraints, putting her hands flat she pulled the rest of her body through the gap. Her eyes were struck by the bright light which caused her to reflexively close them. As they opened once again her gaze drifted to the wand, though to her it looked like a fallen tree trunk.
"OH wow, I got lucky, thank god I got out of there, Erika could've woken up and crushed me by mistake" Rebecca said to herself as she jogged over to the wand. When she reached it she thought for a minute about what to wish for next or if the wand would even work now she couldn't wave it.
