Ron Stoppable was what many would call a 'born genius'. Since early childhood was able to grasp concepts some adults let alone a chilld his age should be able to understand.
His parents though did not seem to notice their young prodigy. They were to caught up in their own lives and happiness to notice when their son was able to read his father's advanced algebra books as easily as reading 'green egg's and ham'. They never asked his opinion about anything even when it was something to do with him like most parents do to develop their childs social skills and made those decisions without even telling him. They alway's found a way to not be around him even on day's important to him like school play's and the like. Usually leaving him with a babysitter while they went out to enjoy the life that they believed was cut short because of their son.
His intelligence was also a subject for ridicule by children his age who thought the big words he used or they way he talked about things they couldn't understand was strange so they left him alone. His only friend was an imaginary one he created named Rufus. It was one of the best days in his life when he met Kim Possible and the two became best friends for life.
It was neglect like this along with several other key traumatic experiences that scarred the little genius to such a degree that it changed him from a prodigy into the lazy seemingly dim witted slacker that he was today.
However what if we remove the key Trauma from his life that was most likley the breaking point for him?
What if Ron Stoppable never went to Camp Wannaweep?
That means no fear of bug's. No bullying from both the campers and the camp counciler's. No ignored phone calls from his mom as proof she didn't care and most important of all no fear of monkey's.
So he stayed at home. His mind in tact and untouched by the many fears that would encompass him and hinder his intelligence to such a degree that he would be known as the school loser.
Now. Let's see the un-traumatised Ron in action shall we?
