Well, you figure, maybe you can use this as a chance to get some brownie points with Allie. You explain about the dream you had and the voice you heard, as well as your head-swapping power.

"So, what you're saying is, you did this," Allie says, her expression clearly unimpressed.

"Uh, maybe?" you reply, rubbing the back of your head nervously. "Although I have no idea why your head would have come off on its own."

"Well, whatever. As long as I'm not stuck like this," says Allie, picking her head up. She narrows her eyes at you, and presses her head against her shoulders.
