This choice: 2 stand users come and drag her out of the cafeteria • Go Back... Just out of Jolyne’s view, two women watched to see how their new “project” was doing.
“She’s progressing nicely, wouldn’t you agree, Bloom?”
“Y-ya… Do you think she’s noticed, Honoré?”
“Not likely. She seems as dense as they come FuFu!”
“I hope you’re right… she seems like she has a short fuse.”
“You wanna test that? I think it’s time we introduced ourselves.”
“Y-y-you can’t be serious! What if she finds out? I mean she is a stand user. If she finds out, one of us is gonna be in a world of hurt.”
“sigh She won’t find out. Look just mind what you say and let me handle the talking.”
Jolyne laid on the bench letting her stomach settle until she heard someone approaching. She turned her attention to the approaching figures. She sees two women, one of them was tall with long, pink ombré hair, partially braided and piercing purple eyes, and the other was an average sized woman with a noticeable slouch, thick glasses, and slight blue ombré short hair cut in a bob style.
“Good morning. I couldn’t help but notice you seemed a little stuck.” Jolyne was not in the mood to humor a couple of jokesters. “Look you’ve caught me in a bad mood, and if you just came here to mess with me then I’m gonna have to get up and beat both of you to a pulp.” Jolyne gave the both of them a death glare that only seemed to work on the smaller one. “EEP” She yelped and hid behind her taller more confident companion. “Oh perish the thought! We actually came to ask if you needed help. We could walk you back to your cell if you’d like.”
Jolyne looked down at her painfully distended stomach and realized she didn’t have much of a choice. “groan Fine I guess I could use your help. I’m Jolyne… Thanks I guess.” A large smile grew on the taller ones face. “Well great! My name is Honoré and this is my friend Bloom. Happy to make your acquaintance!” Jolyne put her arms around Honoré and Bloom and they carried her to her cell.
“Alright guys, I think I can take things from here.” Jolyne was feeling a lot better and truth be told was glad they came to help. “Thanks again for the help you two.”
“Oh think nothing of it we’re always happy to help!”
“I-if you need our help again, just ask”
Bloom pushed up her glasses and hid back behind Honoré, wishing she hadn’t talked. “We’ll see you at lunch, Jolyne. Bye!”
Jolyne stumbled into her cell and laid on her bed with a content grin. She tried to take a nap, but her cell mate wouldn’t just let her do that. “Oy Jolyne you better not be asleep yet.” Her grin faded into an annoyed frown. “I’m kinda trying to.”
“Well stop trying and listen up cuz I’m only gonna say this once. Be careful around those two.” Jolyne sat up from her bed and looked up to the top bunk. “The hell is that supposed to mean.”
“It means exactly what you think. Those two are bad news and I can feel it.”
“sigh You’re just being paranoid. They’re nice people.”
“You see that’s the problem! No here is just nice for niceness sake. I’m telling you they’re up to something. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were stand users trying to get you.”
“If they were stand users they would have ‘gotten me’ when I was laying on the bench in the cafeteria. They’re just some goody two shoes, probably trying to get out early on good behavior. Besides, you really think the small meek one has some nefarious intent?”
“You don’t just get into Green Dolphin Street for no reason!”
Jolyne was getting tired and irritated. “Look just drop it. If you’re right I’ll beat the shit out of them and you can say ‘I told you so’.” She laid back down and fell asleep till lunch.
Just beyond the two’s cell Bloom and Honoré were listening in. “You see Bloom? It’s like I said, ‘she’s as dense as they come’.” The two walked back to their cell to wait for lunch. “But, Honoré, her friend seems to tell… What if she starts to believe her?” Honoré wanted to do everything she could to put Bloom’s mind at ease. “Here, if you’re so worried, I’ll let you have our stand for the rest of the day. Will that make you feel safer?” Bloom nodded. Just then a translucent spector floated from Honoré to Bloom. It was a tall, mechanical, feminine, bottom heavy figure, tinted purple. “There, now you have control over Fat Bottomed Girl. Remember it’s strong, but it doesn’t have a lot of range. Oh and don’t worry about the metabolism virus it creates. It doesn’t work on us.”   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
