"Damn it all! Looks like I have a choice." Naruto reasoned as he stared up at the insurmountable mountain that was his pink-haired teammate. He really didn't want to this, but if it meant he had even a slightest chance of getting her attention then he had to risk it.
Gulping nervously, he approached the awaiting right foot of his teammate. As he did the vile stench that hung in the air began to increase in potency and it made the tiny shinobi's stomach turn. Why did her feet have to smell so bad? Did everyone's feet smell this horrendous?
Regardless, he would have to endure. As he came closer he came to a dead stop as he realized that Sakura's sandal acted as a sort of rubbery wall. To think even her footwear stood head and shoulders above him. It only served to show him just how small he really was. 1cm was just pathetic.
"Okay. You can do this." Naruto told himself as glared at the obstacle before him. He channeled his chakra into his feet and began to make the climb. As he did he could feel his chakra's waning. That wasn't right, he should have an ocean of power to draw from. That was rather worrisome.
The farther up he got the weaker he felt. Miraculously though, he managed to struggle to the top before he felt the chakra on his soles give. Once there the foul stench of feet increased yet again. His throat felt like it was on fire and he couldn't fight back the river of tears streaming down his face.
"Kami it stinks!" The blonde complained as he did his best to wipe away the tears. When he did he was greeted to a sight that made his blood run cold. He was apparently staring at the entrance between Sakura's big and second toes. The two fair pillars she called toes were as big as towers to him.
This was a lot more than he thought it would be. From here he got a better view of the dirt and grime that clung to the pinkette's toes and he could see what appeared to be a river running across the surface of the sandal. River? Wait!? Was this sweat!? It must've been, why else did it reek like everything else here?
This was without question the grossest undertaking Naruto had ever participated in. He had to remind himself this was dooing what needed to be done. Steeling his resolve, he trudged forward through the growing river of foot sweat.
Meanwhile up above the chunin came to the conclusion that Naruto and her mentor must've stepped out. It made no sense to stick around here if they weren't going to be back for a while. "I guess I'll just come back tomorrow."
Shrugging her shoulder's, the pinkette began to take her leave...
