Terra was sitting on the rather large couch in front of the GIANT TV contained within the main living space of Titan's Tower. Across from her were Beast Boy and Cyborg, the three of them duking it out in an imported Japanese racing game.
Terra: "HA! Power up! You guys will never catch me now!"
BB: "We'll see about that!"
While the duo fought out the race in a desperate mash up of buttons, Cyborg was left in the dust, helplessly flailing his arms and pressing random buttons.
Cyborg: "No fair! My buttons aren't working! My D-pad is sticking! My joystick's not responding! Ah, screw this, I'm getting a soda."
He then proceeded to angrily throw his controller on the sofa and sulk off to get refreshments.
After a few more laps, Beast Boy and Terra drove neck and neck down to the wire. In a photo finish, the camera revealed Terra as the winner.
Terra: "Alright I won!"
BB: " Nooooo! I was sure I had you!"
Terra: "Moan all you want, but just wait till the rest of the guys learn that you lost at your best game to a GIRL!"
Beast Boy proceeded to do one of those visible sweat drops with horizontal lines for eyes that only Japanese cartoons can do.
BB: "NO! The sun was in my eyes! You're car's just faster! You must have cheated! I WANT A REMATCH!!!"
Terra: "Hahahahah. Just admit it man you lost."
BB turned sideways, doing that other Japanese cartoon trick where the eyes get really small and he looks sullenly back over his shoulder. At that exact moment Cyborg returned holding a case of soda in one arm with a incredibly big and cheesy grin on his face.
Cyborg: "Who wants Cola?"
He chucked one at both of the pair, while grabbing one for himself. Terra nimbly snatched hers out of the air, but the other hit BB right between the eyes, knocking him clean out of his seat.
BB: "Oww!"
Terra deftly popped open her can and downed the entire can in one clean chug. Crushing the can on her head, she tossed it way. As her arm fell on the couch, she felt one of the many items which frequently get lost between its cushions. Grabbing it, she set her eyes on a packet of Pop Rocks.
Terra: "Pop Rocks! Sweet!"
With a quick tear, the bag is open, and she lifts it up, about to pour it into her open mouth. At the same time, Beast Boy, still rubbing his head, snaps his head around. A red light just went off in his easily distracted brain.
BB: "Pop Rocks and Cola? Terra NO!!!!"
He dives forward, hand outreached, trying to swat the package away from her before it's to late.
