Kaden begins to speak as another guard enters the room.
"what is it? i told the guard not to interrupt me during this!"

"apologies sir Kaden..but the king aand queen need to have a word with you....about your prisoner."
"can it wait?"
"they are in the next room...i wouldn't risk it."

Kaden sighs.
"fine...i'll be right there...stay by the door.
no-one except me is allowed in here...got it?"
the guards nods and kaden exits the room.

Daresh leans against the cold stone wall...his drow ears pricking up to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"execution in the morning...."
" but sire, we have no proof it was him."
"he's a dark elf...that alone is proof enough to the people. they want justice to be done....and i am obliged to serve the people.
Have him ready by morning."

*so they plan to execute me anyways* Daresh thinks to himself.
Kaden re-enters the cell and the guard leaves.
"i have...."
"i know all about the kings decision. To be executed because i am drow."

Kaden smirks.
"figures you could hear that...so, what will you do?"
