On such a nice day, there was plenty of places to go to, but where? The mall was to crowded for Jack, being the semi-introvert he was, and the park was too boring for both of the boys.
With all those options canceled out, there was just one place to go - the beach. It was a nice day, but it was also hot, perfect to go swimming. The beach was just a few blocks away,much to Sam's relief, who didn't like to walk far.
After packing two towels, dry clothes, suncream, and swimming shorts, the boys where on their way. As for food, Sam had money, thanks to his summer-job.
The beach was beginning to get crowded when they arrived. Umbrellas littered the sand, and the ocean where dotted with tiny colorful shapes of people.
Jack didn't like to go swimming in the ocean, unlike Sam who loved it, but there was a lagoon nearby, filled with small sea-caves for exploring. Who knows what they can find?
The sun made both them sweat, but due to Sam's blubber he sweated the most, yellow stains appearing on his white shirt. No longer able to handle the heat, the boys left their towels on the beach - assuming no one would steal it - and went swimming.
After hours of enjoying themselves, the boys went to go grab something to eat. There was plenty of restaurants on the coast, with other other small take-away shops.
They choosed the cheapest, and most filling, place to buy food. They settled on a small shop that sold large burgers and chips soaked in crease. "So, Jack, do you want some desert?" Sam asked, rubbing his fat stomach, that was a tad larger after the feast. "You still have some money left?" said Jack, suppressing a small burp.
"Ofcourse," the fat boy said,"Just enough for desert." Jack nodded and they went to a van selling ice cream. When they where done, they saw that it was still midday, and they still had time to enjoy themselves.
But what did they do for the rest of the day?
