Twenty Minutes equals a lifetime ago

"Stacy, of course twenty minutes ago you were younger...twenty minutes younger silly. Now go back and

watch TV."

"Oh, all right, though I was going to get something in the kitchen...what was it?"

" You mentioned how nice a cup of tea would be earlier," she replied.

" I did? Well, I'm sure that if you say I did then I did...memory isn't what it once was... evidently."

"Just go back and watch the TV, while I get that tea for you and maybe some cookies to go with it."

"Uhh, sure...that would be delightful...and...I know I'm being silly... but could you check the heat in here?

I seem to find it a bit too warm for some reason."

"Of course sweetie," Amanda said, noting that Stacy had now passed her early fifties, and had visibly

started to experience hot flashes. "I'll get your shawl for you as well, so just kick back in your recliner and I'll

join you momentarily."

"Why would I want a shawl? I'm too young for such a thing...aren't I my dear?"
