Changing winds

Sixteen years passed since the child was left on the cliffs. Every attempt to befriend a human failed. Everyone fled from him screaming "Monster!" After many times he finally accepted that he was a monster. The child attacked nearby towns, or travelers that go to close to his nest. A few times he had to fight off monster hunters, but none ever got close to killing him.

He had come from an awkward looking child, to a stunningly powerful roc. He stood close to twenty feet tall and had ten foot wings, allowing him to fly and make powerful gusts of wind. A large beak that easily crack bones and rip off limbs. Talons that could pierce the strongest of armor. He was the most feared monster in all the land. One thing the roc still had since he was a child was his fathers eyes. Eyes of a man who abandoned him on this cliff. The man he hated the most.

The child awoke from his nest just any other, but unknown to the child to day was going to change his life. He set off to...
