Devil... Fruit?

You looked at the wired animal/doctor as he asked you the question. You had no idea what he meant.
"Devil.. Fruit? Whats that?" You asked.
He looks at you kind of funny, and begins explaining.
"Well, Devil Fruit users are certain people who eat fruits with special powers imbedded inside them. Called Devil Fruits. The powers vary, alot, depending on the name, and shape of the fruit. People like Luffy, have incredible power. But eating the fruit makes it so you can no longer swim."
"B-but you guys all sail around water all day.. That doesnt frighten you?" You ask.
"Why should it? The people who are on this ship, are not all devil fruit users, but they all have very special talents."
Chopper noticed that you were starting to nod off.
"Are you even listening to me?!"
You stir slightly, and reply.
"I'm sorry, I feel really weak for some reason.." You could barely lift a finger.
"I've got just the answer!" Chopper said excitedly, as he turned into his Guard Point form carrying you outside to where everybody else was. Putting you down on the ground, he signaled to Nami.
"Okay, he's all set!"
Nami turned to Luffy and asked him, "Are you sure about this? What if it kills him?"
Luffy responded strongly. "I'm sure! I can feel it, ya know?" He said with a grim.
Nami then began swinging her pole around, and a cloud came out of it., Lightning was heard crackling through the air.
This got your attention.
"W-wait a second!" Getting up suddenly, wabbling slightly. "Thats dangerous! What if that K-"
"Thunderbolt-Tempo!" Nami screamed as a bolt of lightning soared through the air, and hit you square in the chest.
. . .
Nothing happened..
Luffy's laughing like a mad-man, as Chopper asked you, "Are you feeling any better?"
"Yeah, how'd you-"
"I told you I knew it! He's got lightning powers!" Luffy said in an outburst, smiling the whole time.
