Normally you’d just sulk away embarrassed but you’re in a bad mood today. Chalk it up to rough couple of weeks due in no small part to your teacher. “Yeah yeah,” you say muttering under your breath. “Goth freak!”
You start to walk away when suddenly she grabs your shoulder.
“What was that?!!” She asked her smile dropping instantly. She looks at you coldly causing you to take a step back.
“Uh- n-nothing” You say. You suddenly remember that the reason why Lori spends so much time in detention is that she’s always getting into fights in school. There’s even speculation among the other students that she beat up one of the school’s football players.
As she pushes you against one of the locker hard you’re pretty sure that it’s not just a rumor.
“Did you just call me a freak?” She asked.
“Um n-no,” You say looking around desperately for help. The hallway is fairly empty and nobody is paying attention to you.
Lori angrily pounds her fist against the locker behind you. “Listen Shoe shine boy nobody talks to me like that and gets away with it.” She tells you. “By the time I’m done with you, you’re gonna wish you were never born.”
