You shake off the thought and head to your next class.
Of course you didn’t get out of the most boring class you have. World history was one of your least favorite classes. It was always covered topics of people long dead and ideas behind the times. Today was a series of topics on middle Eastern mythology. You were zoning out completely uninterested.
*I wonder when the new update for Castle Crusades comes out?* You thought to yourself.
In the midst of your thoughts your friend, Aaron bumps your arm.
“Do you actually believe any of this,” he chuckles under his breath.
You look back up at the screen and the teacher was talking about Jewish mythology. As you read the board something catches your eye. Dybbuk, which is where a spirit latches onto a body. It literally means the act of sticking or adhering. You focus in and realize that it was something similar to what you were able to do, but as far as you know you are very much alive.
You lean towards Aaron and say “It feels like a lot of crap. Demons aren’t even real.”
“Right” Aaron muses.
You look down and your hands and think about what has happened with you being able to possess Tori. You hear the bell ring and pack up your stuff. Thankfully that was the last class of the day. As you are walking to your locker, you make eye contact with Tori and again she turns red. Being the awkward person you are, you do not want to address that yet. You enter your combination and open your locker. Aaron comes up behind you while you are packing your stuff up.
“Hey man, would you want to do something today. My mom and sister have plans to see a movie tonight so we would have the house to ourselves for a bit.” Aaron says.
“I don’t know for sure. I have to see if I have anything going on topic. I will let you know.” You reply.
