Khesks walked as a giant among the tiny felines. A few times he wondered what one might taste like, but decided he would have a true enemy for a snack rather than the many civilians. After a while, he found one standing still in shock and at last had something to measure against besides the stains on his pads. The tiny creature was just barely tall enough to touch the top of his toes, that is if the cat were to jump and reach out, with a boost from a fair-sized pebble.
The lupine went to crush the creature when he noticed something extremely odd going on all around him, that made him forget the tinier-than-toes creature and think of the bigger picture....
