Big boy's games

    by: Unknown
Looking up, the formerly nameless Wolf finally had been id'd, it was Tom! Dan's 'little' brother, one of the reasons he'd taken this post here and done so much to ensure he'd get it, to defend the lil' bro. Of course, now, lil' bro wasn't so little anymore and there wasn't so much Dan could do to defend him given that anything big enough to threaten Tom could finish Dan off with a simple twitch.

Suddenly, the titan bent down and was on all fours, sniffing and searching the ground for his now all but microscopic friends. His breathing and sniffing though was creating winds that'd put the strongest of hurricanes and storms to shame, leaving Dan and others to cling on to whatever was round them.

Dan looked up at the spire-scaled teeth, enormous nasel passages, and monumental power that hung over him. Minutes ago, that was a little head, small nose and lots of baby's teeth, or at least comparatively. Hard to believe he had thrown that kid, beaten him up and scared him out of his fur, right now the tables were turned. If Tom tried any of that, well, anything this small wouldn't survive, that was for sure.

Suddenly, the ground rocked and rolled with some massive force, yet the stones didn't seem to so much as move a nanometer, Dan's little pads under his tiny feet still felt the movement just before he was sent to the ground. Well, wound up flat on his face on the stone. Off in the distance he saw a huge, white blur followed by an orange blur and many others shooting across the ground behind Tom. As they shot by, a gust beyond all gusts sweapt through along the explosions of impacts and collisions that'd deafen anyone.

Whatever it was, it got Dan's attention, he stood up, turned around to look and then turned back for just a second to step forward. The movement seemed to show off a want to stay and look, but a powerful urge to follow the action; moving away was like trying to resist the urge.

For Dan, it set him with a better idea of his and Tom's size, and showed one place where he didn't want to end up, under Tom's pads. The couple steps rattled Dan's bones to their cores and scared him beyond belief as he saw tons of dirt and sweat drop from the pads overhead. The dark bulges were clearly tougher than anything he'd ever seen and would crush him or trap him without ever giving the boy any notice, like his own, they were hard from carrying such weight over time. The Lieutenant rubbed his feet on the rock and like Tom, didn't feel much.

Before he could react, the mountains ahead tipped forward and whipped towards Dan like a curtain of destruction. Getting bigger and bigger as soon the horizon was blocked out to be replaced by furry toes....
