Knowing how hard it would be to hide a girl 15 feet tall, Negi and Nodoka let Haruna find out about the latter's height. Instead of being scared by the sight like Negi was, Haruna was both delighted and amused by her friend's new height.
"I guess your growth spurt came earlier than you thought it would", giggled Haruna.
"Haruna!", cried Nodoka, tears slightly rolling down her eyes. "I'm really scared! I don't find this neat at all!"
"There there, Nodoka", Haruna told her friend as she stepped closer to her, her attitude now a complete reversal that it was a minute ago. "Have a tissue..er, several tissues." Haruna grabbed many a tissue out of her pocket, and although Nodoka used them, they didn't last long. Nodoka was still thankful for them, though, and thanked Haruna for being more understanding now.
"Hey Nodoka, You know what you should know do before you shrink back to normal size?" asked Haruna.
"Yes?" replied Nodoka, still red in the face and a little sad.
"You and Negi should have a date!" Haruna grinned. "How many people get the opportunity to date a 15 foot-tall girl like yourself?"
"D-d-d-d-date?!" said Negi in shock. "But Haruna-san.."
"Don't worry about it. I won't tell another soul about what I just saw. Now you two lovebirds have fun", grinned Haruna, pushing Negi right up to Nodoka. He and Nodoka then looked at each other face to face, blushing yet again.
"Negi-sensei, if you don't want to do this, you don't have to", reminded Nodoka, blushing.
"Well...I don't often get to see this kind of thing in action. And I was hoping to find a cure.." contemplated Negi.
"Cure, shmure!" yelled Haruna, playfully slapping Negi in the back with her right hand right into Nodoka. "They'll be more time to talk about later. You two go have fun!"
"Well, if you say so", simultaneously replied Negi and Nodoka, who decided to then walk away. After a few minutes of walking, thankfully unseen by the other students or faculty, Negi finally spoke.
"Nodoka-san, do you know why Haruna-san is pressuring us to hang out?" he asked his taller student.
"Well, you see...the reason I met up with you today was no accident. Haruna-san somehow overheard you and Asuna-san talking about the growth spell."
"Eh!?!" Negi exclaimed. "She knew from the beginning!?"
"I-I did too, sensei", Nodoka shyly replied. "The thing is, Yue, Haruna, and me played rock-paper-scissors to see what you were up to..."
"And I suppose you were the winner?" asked Negi. Nodoka shook her head up and down in reply. "Oh, I see", he added. "I guess Haruna-san wanted to see the results, then? But what about Yue-san? She loves magic abilities. I thought you said she was reading manga right now."
"I thought she was as well...", said Nodoka.
"Odds are we're going to bump into her at some point today", Negi told Nodoka. "I hope she doesn't react too awkwardly to this."
"I hope so, too", agreed Nodoka.
Now what should Negi and Nodoka do?
