Natasja couldn't be happier. She finally has a friend. Even more so, a friend who thinks of being fat the same way she does.
The tubby two were almost without eachother for the rest of the day. They had so much in common. They talked about favorite food, least favorite food, the great feel of being fat, ect. Natasja had never been so social in her entire life. Probably because Nikki is a lot like her when it comes to food and the concept of being fat, something both of them love.
It was the end of the school day. The two fatties stayed a fair distance from the rest of the kids, who were waiting to be picked up by their parents, as well as Natasja and Nikki.
"You know, you never really told me why you're fat and why you like it", Nikki noted.
"Sorry", Natasja apologized, "You're fat because of constant hunger right?"
"Yeah", said Nikki, patting her gut, "Some people would probably look at it as a curse, but if you ask me, it's a blessing"
Natasja smiled.
"So what's your story?", Nikki asked.
"Oh", said Natasja, "Well, I never really did much of anything other than sit around and eat. I remember back when I was thin, when all this", she placed a hand on her belly, "didn't exist. At some point, because of all of the lazyness and eating, I became a chubby girl, and then later on, became the fat girl I am today. So me being fat was an accident, but hey, it shows good things can come from accidents", she patted her belly, using it as an example.
"Good thing for you that it happened", said Nikki, "I personally think skinny is ugly"
"Yeah, but to skinny people fat is ugly", said Natasja.
"If you ask me", said Nikki, "I think if you want to be thin, you're crazy.
"So do I", said Natasja, "But if they want to be paper, let them. They have their reasons. No one can control others"
Nikki frowned, thinking about her parents having a conversation about her weight that she overheard a while ago. She remembered hearing the phrase that utterly scares her: "...put on a diet".
"What's wrong?", Natasja asked.
Nikki shook her head, "Nothing"
Natasja saw her parents drive up to her. "Goodbye", she said, getting in the car. They drove off.
Nikki's parents picked her up a few minutes later.
