Doug wakes up and the two have no recollection ...

In the morning there was a huge feast set up. Doug walked into the kitchen and saw Cody sitting on the huge recliner in the living room stuffing his face. Grandma shoved a huge plate filled with hearty breakfast items into Dougs hands. Grandma told him to talk to Cody before he left so he sat on the couch in the living room. He knew that his cousins would spend weeks at a time with their grandma and grandpa because they lived so close. But Doug learned that since their grandpa recently passed away last year Cody hasn’t left since the funeral. He says grandma has always convinced him to stay and he hasn’t been able to say no. But his parents said that he needed to get a job so they had gotten him a job back home. He would rather stay here and relax but his parents had forced him to take the job.
