Chapter #4
Lunch

It was early noon where you and your friend Marty were eating launch. Of course as partners you both shared the same food. His gigantic claw scraped a piece of meat bigger then you off his burger. While grabbing his straw and placed his thumb over the top. Pulling the straw out of the titanic beverage of soda. Marty placed it inches above you head while you sat up to take a drink.
You two were currently at one of the campuses cafes enjoying the time between classes. The last class was computer animations where both of you were passing with ease. You two worked together better then any partners in the gym. Marty's giant maw tore through his burger with a ravenous appetite. Sadly he wasn't a clean eater and had pieces of burger chunks fall around you. Even with your memories you were still in awe with this giant creature. It was a good thing you can block him from your thoughts or he'll get embarrassed.
Finishing up your lunch, Marty gave you more sip from his soda before drinking up the thousands of gallons of orange soda. After cleaning himself up, you did the same before he placed his hand by the edge of the table. Luckily you were close to the edge and walked over upon his hand. Giving you time to reach the middle, you sat down and watched as he lifted up. Turning around, you struggled to see past his titanic pillars of fingers. This time you made sure he can read this, thus moving his fingers apart.
Just before you two can leave the cafe. You spotted the Alophidor girls and yelled up to your wolf friend. Of course he was one step a head of you and was already walking towards the girls. Suddenly the giant platform under you rose or quickly but you already knew what he was planning. Tilting his hand, you ran down his palm not wanting to roll down and used a bit of your powers to slow you decent onto his shoulder. "Make a smooth entrance my bro and don't choke," you yelled up from your safe perch.
"Chill man...you should already know what I'm going to say," Marty whispered before taking a seat in front of the vixen Veronica and her human partner Holly. "Well hey girls...enjoying a lunch without us," Marty smiled as the girls giggled.
"Well apparently you had one without us...not very smooth for a man," Veronica retorted as Marty rolled his eyes.
"(And this is why we could never work)," Mart thought to himself.
"(Well stop grouching, Holly's waving towards you)," you sent your pal the message as he redirected his attention towards her. Making eye contact, he smiled as Veronica did the same to you while you simply waved.
"So...can we eat by ourselves or are you planning on missing your next class," Veronica said with venom towards your wolf pal. His shoulder suddenly shifted while you held on the the ring of his shirt. His large hand rose up as his head fitted softly on it.
"Oh really...we got time to stay here a bit," Marty smiled easily getting on Veronica's nerves. You now remember why the relationship between you and Veronica and Marty and Holly began. It was like yesterday when you and your brother like friend Marty entered the collage campus for the first time. After having your things settled in with a private dorm, both of you decided to go over to one of the cafes for something to eat.
Of course it was this same cafe where you laid your eyes on a large fox walking inches by Marty holding onto her human partner. You only had a glimpse of her but her eyes landed over you towards Marty. It was the same thing but in reverse where sneaked a look at Veronica while she eyed you without catching her until Marty told you. This all happened in a second before you and Marty kept on walking.
Amazingly, fate brought you and Marty to meet Veronica and Holly again at a party. You were placed at a coffee table where the humans can mingle by themselves. While all the titanic anthros act as a large background dancing and talking to themselves. You can only remind yourself that the scene was pretty loud. You and Holly got a chance to sit by yourselves and had sometime to talk.
Sadly it turned out that she had interests in only Marty. You were pretty crushed at the time and felt that Marty got both girls. But instead, this morning Marty revealed to you the giant vixen had interests in you other then Marty. What a weird combination but it was possible you thought when you snapped back to reality. Marty was stood up abrupt without you having a chance to brace yourself. You nearly rolled off his shoulder and with a panic you couldn't focus on stopping when Marty's hand fixed fell upon you lightly.
Moving his thumb and index finger upon you, you were lifted up where Marty's mad face filled your view. You are pretty nervous and couldn't help to smile when Marty assaulted you with many of his anger thoughts. This wasn't the first time where you left him on his own while you were unreachable in your own mind. Having a titanic wolf bare his fangs and scold you with his large predatory eyes is a scary experience but nonetheless a normal one for you.
