Two years have passed since the era of gods have ended, and the foundation of the One Kingdom of Valentia. Although the first few months have been rough, its king and queen, Alm and Celica-once Anthiese-, have plowed the way for humans to take their first steps in a land without the need of gods, with the Brotherhood of Knights aiding the commoners and nobles alike. No matter where the duo goes, people always see them with their personal weapons, Alm with the divine sword Falchion, and Celica with the Beloved Zofia.

So what journey do these two face now? After sealing away an alchemist's creation in Archanea, deep within the Thabes Labyrinth, it seems like there's nothing left for them to do. After all, there's nothing that can top the gods of old and man's greatest creation...right?

Celica rises from bed, clearing her vision from the strands of red hair covering her face. She looks on the other side of the bed to see her husband still sound asleep. All she could do was smile as she got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom to change her clothes. As she removes her nightshirt to reveal her red bra and undressed herself, Celica began thinking back to when the whole team returned to Furia Harbor after exploring the labyrinth.

"Excuse me, miss," an old man politely asks her, apologizing for interrupting her travels, "I'm sorry for interrupting you, but by any chance you are heading to Valentia?"
"Yes, I am," Celica responds without giving any hints of her royal lineage, "Is there anything you wish to share with me?"
"Consider this only a rumor, but I heard of a spell that grants women like you immense power," he shares, "I have heard it from sailors, but I do not believe them one bit. Besides, if such a spell existed, would we not have learned of its existence already?"
"Hmm, I suppose so," she agrees, "But they are only rumors. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you." With those words, Celica ran off to catch up with the others, swearing she could hear Alm calling to her.

So why is Celica thinking of that event two years ago? Maybe curiosity got to her. As she stepped out of the bathroom in her titular outfit, she decides to visit the nearby city and see what the market has in store as she waits for Alm to get up.

Walking down the street, she waves to the folks, both commoners and nobles, with grace and dignity. People have always thought she was a reincarnation of the past goddess Mila, but such comments have always made her blush. As she takes her time looking at what the market has in store, she decides to visit a library to see if they have anything new.

The library is small, yet it still proves to be an effective studying spot for both scholars and mages. Either way, Celica decides to read into the spells she has learned to pass the time as she waits for Alm to wake up. As she was looking through the books, she came across a peculiar book that the Brand reacted to. She takes out to book to examine it.

"That's weird," Celica told herself as she examined the cover, "No author, no cover, bot even a title. I'll have to check this out myself..."

Celica walks out of the library and sits on a bench close to the entrance. She was allowed to keep the book for herself, as even the librarians did not know of the book's existence. As she got seated, she opened the book to examine further.

"Text is in this," she thought as she went through the pages, "What is this book...ah! There's a spell in here. Let's see..."

As Celica begins chanting the text, the Brand on her palm begins to glow brightly. Once the light died down, Celica stared at the book.
"What just happen-" Celica questioned until a light headache descended upon her. She grunted a bit, trying to fight off the pain...
