Just by the soft tone of the fox's, or more correctly the vixen's voice, you could tell she was a female. As your eyes quickly look downwards, you manage to spot two large furred mounds adorned on her huge chest, no doubt proving your guess as correct. Just as you were about to further examine her feminine form, your mind suddenly snaps back to more important matters as you gaze back at her huge eyes. "I-I'm...I'm a human." you stammer, unsure if she would think of you as a friend or a simple snack.
"A hooman?" The massive anthro repeats with a cocked head. "What's a hooman?"
The sudden question just left you completely stupefied. Did this strange place even know what a human being was? "err...well, a human being is kind of like you." you begin to explain while keeping an eye on her confused face. "though, we don't have heads, fur, or tails like yours." While it was quite a challenge explaining just what a human being was, especially considering she carried many traces of one, it seems like your simple description manages to work.
"So...a hooman is something like an anthro? except no fur and strange head?" She repeats, to which you immediately nod your head in response.
"y-yeah!" you reply with a small smile on your face. Maybe now she won't think of harming you, seeing just how similar your species were like. Just as relief was sweeping across your body, you suddenly realize her massive snout closing in straight towards you. "h-hey, what are you doing!?" you ask utterly shocked, as you try to move your body as far back from within her grip as possible. Soon, her huge black nose was a mere foot before you as it began to inhale and exhale at a rapid pace. Her quick breathing did manage to shake your hair all about, as you quickly realize she was sniffing your small form. After a few seconds of being bombarded by the warm gusts from her nostrils, she soon pulls her head back to gaze down at you once more.
