"The stone is over there," Alex says pointing. The girl's head turns to follow his pointing and she walks in that general direction, carefully making sure no one is around to see him. While she walks, someone comes near and she stuffs Alex into her pocket. The pocket is like a massive cave to Alex, filled with all assortments of items, such as candy, crayons, and a lot of lint. He can feel each step the girl takes. While she walks, Alex moves over to the wrapped up candy and unwraps a portion of it.
Hoping the girl won't mind, not that she would actually notice, Alex takes a couple bites of the candy. It's orange flavored, hard candy, a sucker in other words, and it is really good so he continues to lick it as the girl walks. Alex's enjoyment is cut short however when her titanic hand reaches into her pocket, feels around for him. She roughly grabs Alex and brings him out into the light.
"Is that the rock?" the girl asks.
Alex nods, realizing she can't really see it, and says "That's it."
