Haruhi looks a bit more fit

When I turned to face our fearless leader, at first she looked the same as ever. Same uniform, same hair, same expression. But upon closer inspection of her arms and legs, it seemed like Haruhi was.... bigger? More muscular? Toned?
That was it. Her arms and legs looked a little thicker and a little more toned. I knew she was athletic and all so that's not surprising.
“Notice anything yet Kyon?” He asked me.
“Yeah, now that you mention it, you do look a bit more fit than usual Haruhi, are you going to the gym or something?”
“Hmm? I don't really notice anything, haven't I always been like this?” Haruhi said. “It's true that I do go down to the gym every so often to stay in shape.”
Odd, Haruhi doesn't seem to notice the obvious.... again. Then again, maybe the changes weren't enough as I had to look very closely to notice the changes.
“Anyways, as your Brigade Leader, I have noticed that we have been lazing around too much lately. Kyon, you look like you've but on some weight since last, and you too Itsuki!”
What? I scramble to feel my stomach area. Sigh, unfortunately Haruhi was right. I hate to admit it, but I have been snacking a bit too much lately. I probably could use a bit of exercise.
“I think we should all head down to the gym and get some exercise. Don't know, may do you some good!” Itsuki commented with his usual smile.
“Haha! You're right! Hey, if we work hard enough we might even be able to enter this fitness contest at the beach in a few months! Haruhi explained holding out a flyer.
That.... was not quite what I had in mind....
That afternoon, we headed down to the gym according to Itsuki and Haruhi, not like I had a choice in the matter.
“So Kyon, what should we do first?” Haruhi asked after we had all changed into our gym clothes.
