At the last possible second, ViralReddmon slammed his hand up and grabbed Renamon, lifting her up into the air. "I haven't eaten in WEEKS! I was thinking about eating some poor human, but I think you'll do!" As he started bringing Renamon toward his mouth he heard Rika begin slashing another card. "Oh, what now?" he spat angrily. "Digi-Modify Matrix Digivolution Activate!"

After Renamon matrix digivolved to Taomon, ViralReddmon accidentally let go of her. "Spirit Strike!" ViralReddmon took whole hit, and his data started to disapate, but almost imediately reattached to him. "Heheh, never thought I'd lose to a couple of punks like you." he said before collapsing to the ground, but instead of turning back to Reddmon... "Rika, look!" Taomon said. Rika well, looked. "That's that new kid in town, Redd!" she said startled. Rika looked at Taomon, "What are we going to do with him? I mean we can't just leave him here..." By this point, Taomon had de-digivolved back to Renamon. "I'll take care of him..."
