All right, thinks Suzi, there's only one way to solve this and solve it quickly. She notices that it's to her advantage that everyone in the office seems clumped together in a group, and a fair distance away from her. She says, "well, it's about this new gun that Dr. Marks invented..." and pulls out the gun, hoping everyone will be lulled into a false sense of security by the clinical way she starts talking. Of course, that's not at all Suzi's intent, as she turns the switch to "shrink" and then, in one motion, slides her finger over the trigger and starts firing.
Suzi shoots fast and hard, aiming at everyone she sees. By the time she's shrunk everyone in the office, her stray shots have also shrunk most of the desks and furniture in the office. Once Suzi stops shooting, she feels a little odd standing around in a nearly empty office space with only a few pieces of scattered items remaining unscathed, mixed in with the tiny dots of everything she's shrunk.
She then put her gun down and smiled: she had the upper hand again. Who were these little shits to think they could stop her whenever they felt like it? But now she had shown them: as she stood tall, in control, everyone else in the office who thought they were so smart were now barely an inch tall, if that, with nothing they could do about it. Suzi had half a mind to just stomp them all out herself right now. They all deserved it, and that way she'd be done with them and no one would ever know what had happened.
But then Suzi's conscience had started to take over. She had done it before already today, but she really didn't like the idea of wantonly killing people, even if they were jerks to her and barely people now anyway. Besides, it's not like any of these people were threats to her anymore.
Of course, thought Suzi as she contemplated the situation, maybe they could do something about it. Are there late-night cleaners who come into the building? Would these little people be able to survive if she just left them there? She kind of doubted it, but could she be sure? It was an appealing thought to walk out the door and leave her officemates to fend for themselves at their tiny size, but it might be more practical to take them all with her. She could probably fit them all in her purse, and then she'd have them around for her amusement.
Suzi pouted for a bit. This gun made her make a lot of tough choices.
