off for study

The man holds the net and looks down as Ella struggles to climb out.

"On, no!", cried Ella feeling very vunerable now, "put me down this instant!"

"You are a feisty little thing, full of spunk. Now to take you home for study!", he said as he proceeded down the path. He held the net in front of him at about waist high.

Ella manages to climb to the rim and stick her head up. "Just what do you mean by "study me?", she asked, "explain yourself".

"As I do with all small creatures I catch, with a magnifying glass and tweezers", he told her as he pushed her head down into the net. Ella didn't like the sound of that and said so,"I'll have you know I may be small, but I'm not a creature!"
