Your mind was racing. As impossible as it seems, you had mysteriously shrunk to about an inch tall. As you tried to make sense of the situation, you heard the door open behind you. You looked back to see the now colossal Kate entering the booth. She closed the door and her eyes were immediately drawn to the tube of lipstick you got for her. She took a step towards you, the folds of her skin wobbling from her own weight. You could only look on as this lumbering mass of fat dominated your field of view. It didn't take long before she spotted you though. You were tiny but with being the only thing in her field of view other than the lipstick which wasn't much larger than you, you weren't hard to miss. Her eyes got big and she bend down, bringing her face right in front of you.
"Whhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat the hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeelllll?" was all she could muster. As she spoke you were bathed in her breath, and she certainly hadn't taken a mint since you last saw her. Her breath smelled like shit before but now it was 100 times more intense. You began coughing as your lungs fought for fresh air. Unfortunately, Kate kept talking. "Steve, what happened to you? How did you get so small? Is this just what they do to the new guy?" You didn't have any answers for her, not that you could answer while choking on the foul air she was spouting on you. "Steve answer me. What's going on?" She asks in a frustrated tone. She waited for your response, giving you a chance to take in some cleaner air.
"I don't know what happened and can you please back off, your breath is absolutely vile." You quickly realize that that was not the best thing to say as a pissed expression appears on her giant face.
"How rude. Is that how they trained you to speak to a customer? You think that just cause you're my friend means I'm going to let that slide? I know the manager here and you might not know it, but you might not have gotten this job if not for me. I don't care how small and cute you are but if you don't provide me with satisfactory service, I'll have to make a complaint to her."
The situation was quickly spiraling out of control. Kate was acting so uppity and like it or not, and you didn't, you needed help. After the second wave of her bad breath passed, you tried to pacify her. "Sorry, I'm just a little freaked out. I didn't mean to snap at you."
"Oh all right, I'll forgive you," Kate winks. "If you put that lipstick on me like you promised."
You looked over at the lipstick. It was bigger than you, and so was Kate's mouth. "You're joking right?"
"No I'm not Steve," She says in a matter of fact tone. "Either you do your job or I take you to your manager and make a big stink out of this."
Whatever you decided to do it looked like you'd be dealing with a "big stink". Do you do what Kate wants or take your chances with the manager?
