It's a child

The features of the face revealed what was already apparent by the size of the huddled figure- it was a boy, hardly into adolescence. His face was disfigured- contorted by terror and bloated with the characteristics of strangulation. Sorrowfully, the nomad pulled the boy's turban down to cover his face. Then dusting off his fingers, he directed his path to informing others of the tragedy.
