"I'm going to relax and go to work." Nick says with a chuckle then continues "You probably just got a little taller, and we haven't noticed till now."
Heather retorts in a concerned tone "I don't think I'm any taller, and Your clothing is looser too. I think we should go to a Doctor."
Nick hugs her laughing Dismissively "Come on, You and I both know I can't afford to threw money away on a quack," Then he kisses her cheek and pulls his head back, so he can look her in the eyes as he continues. "and do you hear what your suggesting?" he says with a smug shrug "Whats more likely babe, I lost some weight, and you grew a little taller, or I'm suddenly The Incredible Shrinking Nick?"
Heather looks in his eyes. She can see how the idea of him shrinking seems silly, but she's still worried. "well, could you at least just stay home today? I know the idea of shrinking seems stupid, but I would just rather have you here just in case."
Nick Rolls his eyes "Heather, Please. Look I don't want to go to work today either. Trust me, If It was up too me I would stay here with you, and help unpack, but We just bought a home, and I don't know if you remember, but My Dad Co-signed for the loan to do it with." Nick steps back and starts buttoning his shirt. "somehow think it would make things pretty awkward on the holidays if I lost this job, and ruined his Credit."
Heather interjects "But what if something is wrong? One day off isn't going to get you fired, and I promise If you stay home with me, and I was wrong I'll let you go tomorrow."
Nick looks at her for a minute. He can see that she is really worked up about this, but he knows they spent every dime they had on this place. He knows what he needs to do to be a good husband, so he decides too....
