The moment Naruto left, Haku began to eat. You see, Haku didn't get eat that much when traveling with Zabuza, since they were always moving around, so the pickings were slim to none at times. But now that he wasn't a ninja, he could eat anything at anytime he wanted.
Haku started with the pancakes. He started slow at first, using a knife an fork. As soon as he at a piece, his eyes widened and his pupil dialated. IT WAS DELICIOUS!
Forgoing the knife and fork, Haku took to the pancakes with his hands. He'd stuffed his mouth as much as he could, then swallow. It was hard the first time but he got used to it pretty fast. Haku at a fast but steady pace, not caring about the syrup covering his mouth and hands.
After several minutes, Haku had completely devoured the pancake to the last crumb and drop of syrup. Haku's stomach was tightly packed and had expanded several inches outward. Haku groaned.
