There was a very large canopy tent set up not far from the water. The giant picked up the cloth part of it and tied it around his waist. It fit.. barely. He stood up and squinted and looked around, looking slightly confused. He started walking towards the city. Those that weren't frozen in shock, ran into nearby buildings. Still looking around, he must have spotted something of interest because he turned and started heading towards central park - which is where you are! You weren't near much of anything to hide behind. The only thing close was a big fountain, so you decided now was as good a time as any to go for a swim. Thankfully, it's a warm day.
Turns out, you hid just in time. The giant is practically on top of you! You quickly move back behind the statue in the middle of fountain. The ground stops shaking and you don't hear anything. It takes everything you have to stop curiousity from making you peek at what's going on. Suddenly, you see a huge face come into view. Open mouthed, the giant stops 4 feet from you and starts drinking the water shooting out of the fountain. This dude must be thirsty - he drinks for about 2 minutes with his eyes closed - enjoying every gulp of water. He opens his eyes and happens to be looking in your location. He moves back, almost as if startled. When he realizes you look like a smaller, female version of his species, he looks more relaxed.
You're not really sure what to do. He's really handsome, so you don't mind staying right there, looking at him. Most people would probably run or cower in fear. But you've never been like everyone else. You've read many books and seen movies with giants in them. You always hate it when people in stories run and scream. Especially when a woman's man is being beat up by someone and she doesn't even try to help him, she just screams and runs like an idiot. You've decided that in these stories, giants are as unpredictable as regular people and you're going to take a chance by giving HIM a chance. Who knows what could happen!
So now is the moment of truth. Should you try talking to him? Or forget all this reasoning in your head and book it out of there!
