You decide to explore around the base. After all, you figure that with Claire's body, you could walk around the base pretty much unnoticed. This would definitely be a good way to learn what's going on here. Plus, you don't want to give up her body just yet.
Walking, you notice that things seem quiet enough on the outside. Sure, there are guards but then again this is a military installation.
"Wow, this is pretty lame." you think, when suddenly you notice an older man walking in your direction.
"Lt. Briggs, what brings you to this side of the base?" he asks warmly.
You freeze up, you don't know what Claire was supposed to be doing. Hell, you don't even know who this guy is! You begin thinking, trying to come up with an excuse when suddenly, something hits you.
"Oh, um, Col. Newbern, hi!" you manage to get out, "I had some free time so I figured I would head over to A-6 and check up on Prof. Harding, sir." you say.
The older man nods, "Alright then. Carry on." he says, walking off.
You sigh in relief. You managed to get yourself out of that but at the same time, you're amazed. How did you know his name? Or the name of a scientist? Or that there was even a building for experiments? Suddenly it hits you: you can tap into Claire's thoughts and memories!
You give it a try and you learn about her. You remember her sister, her favorite food, her first kiss... all kinds of things!
"Wow! This is amazing!" you say to yourself, "I don't just look like her... I actually am her."
And with that, you head off towards building A-6. With your newfound ability, it's even easier than you though. Eventually, you come across a lab and enter.
"Prof. Harding?" you call out, "Are you here?"
"Yeah, yeah! Just hold on!" comes a reply. Soon, a female scientist emerges from the back room.
Her shortish blonde hair frames her surprisingly pretty face well and the classes make her look somewhat nerdy but in a good way. She's quite attractive, you admit.
"Oh, Claire! What's with all the formalities? You know you can just call me Jillian. Or Jill even! That's probably better, right?" she says, seeming a tiny bit scatterbrained. "Oh, but enough about me and my moniker; what brings you here?"
