It was an odd thought that overcame him, but he was thinking about ordering something off the internet.
Alex would search for some ingredients that would alleviate him of such terrible pains, the humiliation, and the ridicule that he had garnered since he started dating. A few clicks, a few transfer sequences, and a few pressings of the "ENTER" button later, all Alex had to do now wait for his delivery.
He checked up online daily to see the status of his delivery, until 4 days later, a crude box, stock full of the ingredients he searched for, came right a his door. He opened up the crude box, searched its contents, and found out that all of his ingredients were there... all except one. In its place, he seemed to have found what seemed to be a piece of paper with something scribbled in blue ink pen.
The following read:
"Dear Customer,
We regret to inform you that the following ingredient you have been requested for has been rendered out of stock recently. We will inform you when we have more of the requested ingredient in stock, thank you and have a nice day."
"Huh... well - that's a bummer, oh well, I've got a lot of what I requested for anyway, so no biggie."
Little did Alex realize that by implying the term "no biggie" he failed to understand that the ingredient that wasn't in the delivery, was a supposed limiter for without it, he would gain what he wished for... plus MUCH MORE. There was little time to spare however, for Alex was eager to play around and fiddle with the chemical components he bought.
The ingredients were "All natural" and quite scenting indeed. A few spits of this, a dash of that, some mixing, some waiting, and before he knew it, an entire 5 hours would have gone and passed by. His fruits were worth it however, as the resulting blue concoction was the growth remedy to all of his ailments. Alex was more than prepared to take the plunge, limiter or not. He downed the entire potion, making certain that nothing remained, and tore up any papers should someone come around and identify his formula.
Alex looked at his watch, he waited as if he anticipated fast results... however, something else came up, a rather odd tingling sensation all across his body. A smile crossed his face as he witness that...
