Ninetails looked at her owner with confusion in her eyes. He was going on a luxury boat cruise with his family, so why wasn't she? They had never been apart!
"I'm sorry, Ninetails, I really am," said the human boy. "But the cruise ship has a strict no pokemon rule. You can't come." he gave the fire type a big hug. She never went into battles and was a pampered pet, so she was a bit chubby. "I'll miss you, but it'll be okay. This spa is the best, pokemon love it and you're all pampered even more than you are at home." He gave his best friend's pokeball to the receptionist and walked out the door.
Ninetails looked around and saw that an employee was holding a door open for her. She stood up and walked briskly through it. The door slammed shut behind her. Startled she looked around to see where she was. it looked like a very wide very long corridor. She walked down it tentatively. After a few minutes she saw a human, whom she bounded up to. The human smiled down at her and opened the door to a room they were right next to.
"This is your room," he smiled and lead the Ninetails inside. The room was big and circular, to one end was a very large bed, and to the other was a huge bigscreen TV. Next to the T.V. was a fancy looking hot tub. On the opposite side of the room was a big door. Ninetails jumped as the human put something around her neck. it was a collar with a fancy looking tag on it.
"That is your key," he said. "Once we turn it on you'll be able to go through that door, but for now it will just let you watch T.V., use the hot tub and order food from the food dispenser." The human pointed to a machine next to the bed. He left ninetales' room leaving her to herself.
