Pichu stopped eating for a moment as he felt the rumble in his belly increase. Contrary to things going down his throat, something was comming up. He felt it inflating his body from the inside as he started ballooning out. Finally it came out as one large burp. And it just wasn't the kind of burp that's heard after finishing a big meal, but one for the history books. It was equal to a thunderous roar as all the nearby pokemon fled in fear flying or otherwise, unsure of the source.
When he finally finished the area was silent for a moment. The next noise was a bunch of tiny burps almost insignifigant to the primary one. Pichu could only assume he was the last pokemon or living thing in the area that wasn't stuck to the ground. He stopped his temporary binge to examine the berries he had been snacking and for the first time found a strange taste he had been blind to when he wasn't focused on tasting. It wasn't bad or anything, but it seemed to have been an indication that something in the berries caused gas build up. When he ate so many they all combined into a belch to end all belches.
This led Pichu to examine the other nearby trees. He shook off a few berries from another tree to see if they had a strange taste too. They did and it was different from the other tree.
