Squished like the bug you are

“Ewwww! It’s a bug!” She shook her hand and flung you away, down to the floor below. “Ew ew ew ew ew!!! I can’t believe I touched it!”

You plummeted to the tiled floor, and splatted into the ground. You were very grateful you hadn’t died, but you were still in immense pain.

Just then, the looming shadow of her heel came above you. She let out a noise of disgust as she squished you into the ground.

The pain was unreal.

However, you were still alive.

Noticing that she only squished harder and harder.

The pattern of her shoe was grinding into you, hard, flattening you like a steamroller does cement.

It was so excruciating that the pain itself has faded. You went numb. And the world went dark.

And, with that, your question was answered. You were only *almost* invincible. Not completely.

Once she heard the pop of your body, and you had surely died, she checked beneath her heel to make sure you hadn’t gotten any blood on it.

Then she carried on her way, as if nothing happened at all.

Leaving you as just a miniature bloodstain in the hall.
