"Ugh, lick? Really? There's no way I'm putting my tongue on those paws!" you think. So you move forward to rub the paws.
You stand next his paw, your head only reaching the top of his pad, as his toes curve slightly over your head. You can feel the warmth emanating from his paw, which has an odd calming effect. "Well, get on with it!" he demands, lightly bumping his paw against your head. Instantly you snap back to reality, remembering his threats. It's bad enough being next to his paws -- you're not in a hurry to be under them!
You begin rubbing his main pad. It's soft, warm, almost cushiony. You knead the pad, then move up down to his sole. It's muskier than was the pad, and the fur tickles as you rub it up and down. As you kneel to reach his heel you look back up to his toes, towering over you, and your efforts are redoubled, recalling his threat. Moving up to his toes, you massage the fur between the toe pads and his foot pad, and the fur between his toes, before massaging each toe pad individually. When you began rubbing, you were trying to be rigorous to please him and avoid getting squished, but nearing the end, you dare to think that you may be enjoying it.
Finished, you move back, hoping that you've pleased the giant Lucario.
