The hollow rock you're now in contains one big room, perhaps 20 or 30 feet across. The only light comes from the opening of the rock which lights up a good portion of the room. The wolf starts to lick you on the lips, and you can't help but giggle at the feeling.
"That tickles" you say.
"I was lucky to find you before my old pack did" said the wolf in a female voice. You're stunned to say the very least and you stare wide-eyed at the wolf. The wolf smiles at you, showing you her fearsome-looking teeth.
"You can talk?" you ask.
"What a silly question to ask" said the wolf. "you're new to this forest, alright. You probably don't even remember how you came to be in this forest, am I right?"
The last thing you do remember was lying down in a tent on your camping trip...and then, finding yourslef in front of this huge wolf. You tell her this and she shakes her head.
"The same thing happened to me too" said the wolf. "and so do all the humans that have entered this forest...they all become either a wolf or another animal"
"Are you saying that....you were once human?!" you ask.
"Yeah" said the wolf. "my name is Cassandra...or rather, it used to be. I call myself 'Sandra' nowadays"
"Why have you brought me here?" you ask.
"I didn't bring you to this forest" said Sandra. "nobody knows what brings humans into this forest....and whatever it is leaves no tracks or even a scent"
"Wait a minute..." you say. "are you saying that I'll change into a wolf?!"
"Either a wolf or another animal" said Sandra. "in a week's time, you'll start to grow fur and have a craving of raw meat...or plants, if you turn into a herbivore"
"So...why am I here?" you say.
"Once you've transformed into an animal, you can't go back being a human" said Sandra. "And I've been so lonely...I want a mate to have a family with"
"So you've picked me to be your mate?!" you ask.
"Yep" said Sandra.
