Steve, unlike his twin brother, was dyslexic. He had never had fun at school, because reading was near impossible without training, but his parents had never thought anything of it. They just assumed he was lazy or stupid.
Steve had been attempting college twice and found nothing of it. He spent a lot of his time drinking, as he was only smarter when he was drunk. Anyways Steve's life had gone from bad to worse, but he realized then what he had to do.
Steve decided that what he needed to do was turn his life around. Sure, he could not read easily, but there were other things he could do. He would first need to impress his twin and his family. He would start as a good guest, helping with chores and learning how to help with his nephew and niece, especially his baby niece.
Steve drove his rusty truck to the front of the house. He parked the car and carefully snuck up the front lawn. He opened the kitchen door, planning to sneak into the guest bedroom, just off the front hallway. With the click of the lock, he entered the kitchen.
