So Susan hurries down to “Real Woman” for some excitement. She opens the door; the room is filled with a sent unlike any other. Almost like chocolate vanilla. The receipts greeted her at the door.
“Hello, I’m Darla, welcome to “Real Woman” how may I help you?”
“Oh, I came here for the job interview offered in the newspaper. Am I too late?” Susan asked worryingly.
Darla looked over the counter and did an “up and down” of Susan. “Hmm no, you’re the first. Please walk this way for your interview.” Darla said as she gesticulated towards the door.
Susan walked in, in a rush, awaiting the new opportunity. She took a deep breathe and opened the door to the office. On the door was a sign that said, ‘Miss Cline’.
As Susan walked in the office she saw the numerous chocolate vanilla candles. The door was lit up perfectly and everything looked so well-placed. Susan looked at Miss Cline seated in her chair.
Miss Cline looked to be about 30-35 years old, and about 230 pounds. She had dirty blonde hair that sat on her slim and feminine shoulders. Her low v-neck suit showed off plenty of pushed out cleavage. Dozens of files and papers lay on her cluttered desk. Her office seemed to be a mess. A small tray in the corner housed a few documents, a mere fraction of the mess in the room. The tray was labeled applicants.
“Oh hello.” Miss Cline said as she hung up the phone she was talking on. “I suppose my secretary sent you in for the job interview?”
“Oh yes!” Susan stuck out her hand and lay her resume on the desk.
“Oh don’t worry, that won’t be necessary. We are hiring anyone; we really need some help to keep this store alive. You can start in half an hour!” Miss Cline said promptly as the phone rang again.
Susan gasped as Miss Cline ran through her list of duties. ‘This woman is defiantly to the point, maybe to much so.’ Susan thought to her self.
“So do you want the job?” Miss Cline asked, obviously expecting a ‘yes’.
“Oh yes, defiantly!” Susan cheeped. Miss Cline’s straight speaking left her in a daze. And the fact the Miss Cline seemed at least two years younger made Susan feel a bit uncomfortable.
“Alright good, we will need you to do one of two jobs.” Miss Cline quickly said. “You will either be one of our models, which mean you will need to be able to fit into the clothes we tell you to or would you like to be a secretary? It’s up to you, but let me warn you; both jobs take a lot of exactness, precision, accuracy and meticulousness. Alright?”
Susan tried to digest what she had just been told, ‘Wow she talks fast.’ Susan thought. “Ok.”
“So what will it be? Secretary or one of my models?”
