Family Time

It is about time she got back to her mate and cub the tigress thinks to herself. She takes the handlers with her. When she gets there she lowers the handlers into the enclosure. The male tiger and the cub rub against the females muzzle and then against the handlers when she lets them out of her mouth.

She then grows the male to her own size and the cub to about 80 feet in size. She moved the cub out of the exhibit when she attempted to play with the humans. The female tiger did not trust the cub to play gently with them. She then created a barrier in front of the exits from the exhibit so the humans could not escape.

All three of the tigers were hungry and it was time to hunt. The cub had just moved on to solid foods, so they could all learn to hunt together. The adults never had the chance to since they were zoo animals. The female thought it should not be that hard for her to catch something at her size. The only question would be could they catch enough for all of them.
