Chapter #6Enter the tournament! by: milida   You are clearly intrigued by the proposal, but obviously you would not have become as wealthy as you have if you weren't switched one and alert to risks, if clearly not risk adverse. You scratch your beard grinning at Faizah then ask "Given that it is your money as well as mine at stake I must admit a curiosity, so tell me dear what is the nature of this tournament?"
Faizah gives a rather obvious sigh of relief glad at least they you are apparently willing to consider this proposal "John, the tournament last for 8 hours and has 8 seperate tests of character, intelligence and Judgement. The actuall test are of course held in the tightest of secrecy given the adverse consequences of it leaking out to the other contestants"
You nod your head more intrigued by the minute "So Faizah can you tell any me more on those 8 tests?"
She grins and gives you a bright smile, suspecting that she may have already hocked you "Yes John, indeed I can, I gather that amongst the 8 tests there is a test of courage, a test of stamina and fighting ability, a test of compassion, a test of business acumen, a test of honesty, a test of leadership, a test of creativity and finally a test of political acummen. Basically each test last 50 minutes with a ten minute rest between tests. The winner is decided over all as clearly, contestants strengths and weaknesses will varry."
You nod your head then purse your lips "So the winner gets to keep the others fortune, what does the sponsor such as yourself get and what exactly happens to the loser?"
She bites her bottom lip obviously hoping you wouldn't ask that question "Well the sponsoring slaver gets to keep the annual cup and seven times the final sale value of all the slaves the lossing men become as determined by a fair and open auction. The losers....."
You give her a sardonic grin, when she tails off "Go on Faizah"
She gulped heavily "Each of the losing slavers, has to train the one they sponsor in their area of expertise"
You frown and give her a decidingly uncomfortable look "But you train sex slaves for men?"
She grits her teeth sheepishly "Yes John, but you aren't going to lose, so what's the worry?"
You shake your head and laugh loudly "I love your confidence in me and I must be crazy, but I agree to your hare brained scheme, sign me up Faizah, I'm a sucker for challenges"
