Amanda decided cooperation would probably get her the answers she needed faster. However, the computer gave her two choices. Not knowing what either of them really meant, she chose the first answer that came to mind. "I choose gas," she responded clearly.
"Wonderful. Gas it is. You know, I was hoping you'd pick that one. It's a personal favorite of mine."
"Personal favorite?" Amanda thought. Did this computer have feelings, or was it an altered voice of her captor?
Lost in though, Amanda almost didn't notice one of the ceiling tiles recede. From the new hole above her dropped a long, slender tube. What the tube was attached to could not be seen. It just dangled right in front of her face.
"Please open your mouth and wrap your lips around the hose," the computer commanded.
Still more demands from the computer and not a single answer as to what was going on. Would it still be prudent to listen to the computer? Maybe if she cause enough of a hassle, someone or something might finally listen to her.
